18 months or so ago I did some work for this book series including the character shots and promotional posters etc. I've just found out that the book has now won a slew of children's literacy awards in the USA for the writer - MAC (that's what she prefers to be called...) - woohoo!!!

You can see which awards in the medals along the bottom.

Cover art is by Glenn Fabry with colours by Greg Horn so I'm not claiming credit for that bit. The stuff I did is on the right side of the collage here (again with pencils by Glenn Fabry) and can be seen inside the book and on their website. Unfortunately they ran out of money to print in colour inside the book and so had to go with black and white, but what the hey... I got paid anyway... :P The coloured pics are on the website at any rate.

They're now up to their 3rd book in the series. Basically each of the kids in the group shot gets their own book and storyline, so there are heaps to go!
