So freaking busy I haven't time to do much at all lately. Got married, getting ready to go to Rome and Florence for two weeks next week, end of school term, other art projects...

This picture then is all about the reflection effect on the "floor" which is an effect I haven't tried before. Otherwise the colour scheme is one I've done before so nothing new there. I hate doing hair anytime! :P

pencils and inks = mike miller :iconunderdogmike:

cheers
Sean

Great work! Where did you study/learn how to draw like this?

Very hot and crisp. The colors pop, making the leather look realistic. Awesome job with the hair, I always have trouble with the hair. One thing I noticed is her skin, her forehead in particular. I don't know if it's because of the lighting but I think the lighting upon her bare skin is too soft. It doesn't give the sheen flesh normally reflects and instead gives an effect of soft spongy material, moreso than skin. I always struggle with skin as well. Overall though it's amazing and a definite fav in my book.

I rather like this image, and I really, REALLY like the hair.^^Although it's not noticable, one thing does bug me abit if you don't mind my mentioning. (If not I guess stop here?xD) The left hand, on the ground.. it might be the shadow, but it doesn't look like there's a reflection of the hand, but rather just the arm. (Of course I may just be blind.;))

the hand touches the ground and so casts it's own shadow onto the ground, which overpowers the reflection.
