This is the "Amazon" picture that is on the Gnomon workshop "how to colour comics by steve firchow" DVD. I *acquired* the high res file and have had a go at the colours!

This picture is deceptively easy looking! - it's not! It has all sorts of fiddly bits and pieces and it took me 4 tries to get the face right (and I'm still not happy...) I'm pretty happy with the nice brassy look I got on her upper armour though!

My colours are definitely not as good as steve's!

Well y'know Firchow IS the man. like your colors too. was actually thinking about takin that pic on myself now that i got a wacom... but its pretty intimidating though.
