This is one of the 5 pictures that I was working on when I became somewhat scarce on DA in January of this year.

The original B&W file of this one was approx 20,000 and 36,000 pixels at 1800dpi! - It brought my computer to a RAM standstill just getting it flatted so we had to do some major down-sizing before I could continue! They want to use it for a poster at various comic cons this year apparently

Hi Sean, I was just wondering as a rule do you tend to colour from dark to light or do you find it varies depending on the atmosphere of a piece?

midtones as flats then gradient tool and darks/light as needed
