The significant thing about this one is that, after having a major rant about using a tablet and just how bloody painful and annoying they are to use IMO, I pulled my little 4x5 Wacom Graphire out of it's dusty drawer and coloured the entire of Velocity herself using it!- damm straight, as they say...

Of course it took me at least 3 times longer than normal to do so, but I bloody well did it! The background was done with my mouse as normal mainly just to speed things up so I can move onto something else.

My original idea for the background was to have those stripey things look like air-raid spotlights with a sky background of some kind and I wasted an entire afternoon getting absolutely nowwhere with that idea. That's mostly because the perspective of the wreckage stuff just makes a sky in the background look odd. So instead I got my grunge out and really played up on the wreckage/scrap yard look to the textures. It certainly makes Velocity pop out of the image at least!
