Here's a preview of the cover to my art book that I'm making up through Officeworks Photobooks ( [link] ) Well, as it stands for today, because this is actually the third iteration of the cover that I've done for this book. I keep doing a nicer picture to use and so keep changing it.. :P It may very well change again depending on what I do between now and whenever I finally get it sent to the printer...

As you can see the cover is basically my version of that Velocity pic in my gallery (pencils by Ken Rocafort and inks by Devgear) and the Amber-suckerpunch picture on the back by Marte Garcia. (It's all fully credited on the first inside page of the book btw...)

You'll notice that I finally came up with a name for it!! Thankyou goes to all who made suggestions in my journal article that I wrote. It's rough latin for "out of the device" or "from the machine" according to at least 3 separate online latin/english transbabulators and plays on the 'deux ex machina'.. and since I'm not quite god-like (yet...I 'm working on it...) I just left that bit off and we get something that sounds pretty good in english and also has deeper connotations as to how the coloured art in my gallery etc gets done! "Ex Fabrica" would have been better overall as far as the latin goes but it doesn't sound as good or plays on the languages as well, and at the end of the day... who cares!?

This book will be purely for my own purposes and vanity so don't ask if you can buy one, because you can't / won't be able to. It'll only be printed in a single copy for myself to show off to friends and family and maybe at supernova comic con next year if I go again like I did with my previous photo book that I made up about 2 years ago.

...at the comic con, where there are all sorts of people who know who did what artwork to an imtimate and detailed level... I'd probably be hounded out of the building with flaming torches and pitchforks before I got the first book onto the table :) :D

i was thinking more australian conventions.
But perhaps....you could put together a book of all the comission you've been paid? That could work out well.
