Back in 2003 I got hold of the high res lineart for this one from Salvatore Aiala . It was the very first high resolution picture I had ever coloured. Before that I was relegated to colouring whatever screen res 72dpi images I could find on the net.
And what a difference it made!! - So much easier to select areas, make colour fills... well everything. I've hardly done a 72dpi picture since!
But since at that time I pretty much just copied the original colours by Salvatore Aiala , (and you can see the original one that I did in my renderosity.com gallery here --> [link]) I decided to revist it and do it my own way from scratch, and since the original was a sunset/rise background I chose to do this one at night.
BTW, this is 250th image I've uploaded into my DA gallery...!
