Many people ask me where I get my high res lineart from and how to contact the pros etc etc.
Well, the trick is - you have to ASK them! I do this by trawling the net for their names, finding their websites (most pros have some site or another, even if its only a blog) and then looking for their contact emails. I then write a nice, pleasant email explaining who I am and what I'm after, promise to follow any rules or restrictions on said lineart if they supply some (like not passing it on to others, giving copyright credit, or adding to my website gallery etc etc) and then sit back, cross my fingers and hope for the best....!!
Most pros will get back to you... eventually in some cases, and most will have some stuff that they can throw your way, others will say 'no' which is fine also. Remember to say thankyou when they do! Some won't get back to you at all which either means that they don't bother to check that email address anymore, or they aren't into that sort of thing. Either way, there's no use bugging them as that will just piss them off even more.
So, that's how to contact the pros and get lineart off them. A good place to start is here on DA as many of them are increasingly using this website as a cheap and easy way to show off their stuff. They often have each other as DA 'friends' and so finding one often leads you to many others via their friends or favs.
Having said that, I have a huge stash of high res lineart from various artists on my own website (
[link] ) that I'm perfectly happy for people to download and colour for themselves. Much of it is the lineart to the pictures you see here in my DA gallery. Surprisingly, while this gallery is very very popular judging by the download stats, I don't see all that many people actually colouring the pics that are there! *shrugs* They are fine for colouring but as I'm constrained by upload limits in the gallery, they aren't suitable for printing (they'll be very very small if you do) - but they're perfectly suitable for posting online and the like.
Otherwise if you're looking for large sized inks to colour then you can't go past

,

and

to name just a couple here on DA. There are dozens more I know but they'll get you started at least! A good website for high res lineart is -->
